Love FTC! Better than getting your nails done or a housekeeper! Worth it! With three boys, a busy schedule, and working as a realtor this service is a lifesaver! Alexis is a favorite in our home! She listens and delivers every week and helps when we go on vacation! Meals in the freezer for our return

This review is for all the busy families trying to feed their family balanced and delicious meals. Last spring, I found our family turning to fast food and local restaurant carry-out when our kid spring activities started filling every evening. Unsustainable. I knew we needed to get a plan for nutritious, easy to prep meals. Enter our fabulous chef, Mason. He does all of the heavy lifting. He decides for us (so kids don't argue over what we're eating) based on the criteria we've given him and our feedback on past meals he has made for us. He shops in our refrigerator and our pantry first (which is so nice to have stuff we've already bought get used) and then gets whatever else he needs at the store. One example is we had very ripe bananas that needed used and he used them for brownies. Then he makes our house smell amazing By doing all of the effort of prepping and cooking and cleaning up. He puts each meal in a family style disposable pan that can go in the oven and it makes dinner time SO MUCH EASIER in every possible way. One other note is we spend much less on groceries overall. We literally buy milk, fruit and granola bars and Mason does all the other shopping. Keeping us out of the grocery store has significantly decreased our overall spend on unnecessary groceries or groceries that don't get used. I'm extremely thankful to have found this service and feel fortunate to have our chef, Mason, who listens to our needs and sure knows how to create delicious food consistently! Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

We love Chef Evelyn! She has been a great blessing to our family of 6. Her food is great and she is very accommodating to our family's preferences and dietary restrictions. My young twins had a very restricted diet and she found ways to make the meals so that they could enjoy them too. She would also cut part of the meals into small pieces just for them, which helped me a lot. She can make a wide range of meals and is very easy about shifting things week-to-week based on our schedule and needs. She is very kind and courteous. I fully trust her in my home when I am not there. My husband and I talk regularly about how in this busy phase of our lives, Friends that Cook and Evelyn have been a life saver. Highly recommend!

We love Chef Damar! This week he even got my picky 4 year old asking for seconds with his chicken Pot Pie (a family favorite). Having him feed us delicious meals weekly has been a Godsend with a colicky newborn at home!

Amazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great, Katie (our chef) is always so friendly and kind. She (Katie) does an amazing job creating our weekly menus. The food can’t get better, great variety and fine value.

We have had the pleasure of having Chef Katie feed our family for a year now - best use of resources for two working professionals with a toddler! Chef Katie is reliable, has delightful ideas, is pleasant to work with, and always willing to try new things. She adapts to our requests without any issues and we are so grateful to have found Friend That Cooks! Truth be told my husband is a MUCH pickier eater than my toddler and Chef Katie has even gotten him to eat vegetables regularly. We were stuck ordering in 4x/week with our work schedules before, and now we have home-made meals ready to go when we come home. She always leaves our kitchen spotless, the only way you would know someone had been there is the delicious aroma of all the things she's made that greets you at the door when you walk in. Thank you Chef Katie!!

Chef Evelyn has been wonderful! She began cooking for my parents back in July of 2021, and my parents were so happy with her food. My mom loved not only the flavor, but the appearance of everything. My dad has especially been enjoying the tilapia and other requested meals, and he really has loved her desserts (he mentioned specifically the cherry and apple pies). Having someone friendly, reliable, and talented like Chef Evelyn making delicious meals for my parents has made everybody happy!

Chef Brandon has taken all the stress out of our weeknight dinnertimes. It is wonderful to come home to healthy, fresh, homemade meals that only take minutes to have on the table. Brandon incorporates any ideas we request and always creates amazing dishes. We are so happy we found out about his service!

Chef Jonathan has been amazing for our family. Having meals ready to go throughout the week has been a complete game changer for our family. Chef Jonathan's food and menu selection has been fantastic!

It only took one week to be totally sold that this will be a service that we will use for a long time in the future. Chef's Sarah's communication was solid. The consultation was thorough. The first round of meals was all delicious. Can't wait for week 2 and 3 and so on.
