We've had the pleasure of working with Drew through Friend That Cooks for about a year now, and he has been an absolute standout.

His food is consistently excellent — creative, well-balanced, and clearly made with real care and skill. We have a pretty wide palate at home, and Drew never misses; he brings genuine variety to our weekly menus and keeps things interesting week after week without ever feeling repetitive.

He's just as strong on the professional side: dependable, punctual, and easy to coordinate with, even when our schedule or requests change. Communication has never been an issue — he's responsive, flexible, and always willing to accommodate our preferences or last-minute adjustments without missing a beat.

Beyond the technical skill, what really sets Drew apart is how much he clearly cares about the experience he's creating for our family. It shows in the presentation, the thoughtfulness of the menus, and the way he checks in to make sure everything is working for us.

Working with Chef Camille has been a gift. We are two busy adults, and neither have exceptional skills in the kitchen. Camille makes the process seamless and easy. She shops, cooks, cleans; all with an eye to the exact ingredients that I need. Camille makes the business of life more fun and so convenient. It's worth every penny and I only wish she could prepare our meals in person every night of the week!

We absolutely love working with our personal chef, Durand. She consistently nails our requested dishes — her jambalaya, Asian-style beef and broccoli, and kid-friendly bean burritos are family favorites that never disappoint.
She’s reliable, easy to communicate with, and always responsive to special requests. Having someone who can deliver delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals that work for both the adults and our kids has been a game-changer for our busy household. Highly recommend!

Sedona is a wonderful addition to our family and has made home life in and around the kitchen so much more enjoyable. She prepares meals for each of our particularities and has creative varieties on our comfort food favorites. We have some real favorites including her butter chicken, blueberry “crack”, all her muffins as well as so many unique and insanely delicious salads.

Camille is simply the best! I was searching for a weekly meal service in Asheville, NC and luckily the stars aligned. Camille has been making weekly meals for us for over a year, and I'm terribly sad that she is moving out of state. Not only are her meals delicious, but she is also very easy-going and loves dogs. She has saved me so much time over the past year (I still don't know how she shops, cooks, & cleans in such little time!) and I'm so grateful she worked with us.

We highly recommend Camille S. for weekly home meal preparation. For 10 months, she prepared seven breakfasts, lunches, and dinners each week for two people – somehow completing the shopping and cooking within about six hours.

Camille consistently accommodated our many changing dietary restrictions as well as our neurodivergent needs. Each week, we sent her an enormous list of requested dishes and additional groceries, and she somehow made it all happen. She was also remarkably organized and attentive in our kitchen. She remembered exactly where our ingredients, cookware, and utensils belonged, so we rarely had to search for anything afterward. It was almost like she was never there, but our fridge was magically full of sparkling meals.

Just as importantly, Camille brought a grounded, calm energy into our home. Maintaining a quiet and peaceful environment is especially important to us, and her presence was always respectful and comfortable.

Hiring a weekly home chef was a financial stretch for us and substantially increased our monthly food expenses, but it also gave us far more than delicious home-cooked meals. Grocery shopping had previously been a major challenge because we often lacked the energy and postponed it. With Camille, we could simply add what we needed to her list, and now we only shop every few weeks for specialty items. Having meals prepared at home has also allowed us to stop relying on restaurants and to choose the quality of the ingredients used in our food.

She regularly went above and beyond, even putting out our trash when she came on collection day and filling our bird feeders.

Camille is capable, thoughtful, efficient, intelligent, reasonable, organized, and genuinely caring. We recommend her very highly to anyone looking for dependable weekly home meal preparation.

Durand has been an incredible personal chef for our family. We eat high protein, veggie-forward, and low carb, and like to be surprised vs giving specific instructions. She consistently came up with creative recipes that made those constraints feel effortless, nothing ever felt repetitive or like "diet food." Every meal hit.

She's also great under specific requests. When we needed to feed 12 people for a family gathering and had specific dishes we were looking for. She pulled it off without a hitch, and each dish was the best version of the dish we had ever had.

Beyond the cooking, she was just lovely to have in our home. She's warm, easy to be around, and even our dog adored her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a chef who's both talented and genuinely great company.

Hiring Camille three years ago was our very first time using a personal chef service, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Sedona has been an absolute godsend for our family! She manages to cook meals our little kids (3 and 5) will eat but that my husband and I also really enjoy. I give her almost no direction because a huge part of having a chef for me was reducing the mental load, but she always does great. And on occasion when I do crave something and give her specific requests she always delivers. 10/10!!!
