I’m so happy to have Elana as my personal chef! I have a very strict dietary protocol with a long list of food sensitivities, so cooking everything from scratch was very time consuming. Elana has made such a difference in my quality of life, providing ready-to-go meals that are healthy and entirely catered around my needs. She’s open to ideas, preferences and the whims of whatever I feel like eating, and she’ll customize dishes that may otherwise not be safe for me to eat.

I’m so glad to have her and look forward to more great food in my future!

Having Katie in our lives has been a complete game changer for us. My husband and I are both workaholics and were not eating healthy at all, mostly ordering take out every day! With Katie, we're eating delicious but healthy meals every day. Katie always goes above and beyond, prepares ahead of time for what the plan for our week will look like and is always accommodating of special requests! Absolutely love her!!

Katie (Chicago) has been wonderful. With a family that has a full schedule, the great meals she provides has stopped us from eating fast food. We are very happy with the Friend that Cooks service.

A search for personal chef services for my elderly mother in the Milwaukee area led me to Friend That Cooks and Chef Matt. My mother required a special low sodium diet that would enable her to decrease high dosages of blood pressure medications that were causing significant side effects. Chef Matt immediately understood our goal and has prepared delicious, low sodium meals for my mom for close to two years now. She loves them! Her blood pressure is now well controlled with just the slightest of medications and no side effects! Chef Matt is a pleasure to have in our kitchen. We respect him as a friend, a chef - and part of our health care team!

We have had the good fortune to have Tom as our chef for a year. He makes a variety of meals that are delicious, healthy and convenient. The concept of Friend That Cooks works for me. The cost is reasonable, and having food to take to work solves many problems. I cannot say enough about how great it has been to have him making great meals, and he is a fantastic person as well. We have salmon as a staple every week because it is so delicious. He changes the seasoning and veggies with it so each week it never gets boring. Highly recommend this service.

We love having Katie come to our home to prepare meals! She goes above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and dietary restrictions. She is patient with our dogs, who always greet her at the door, as well as timely and professional. She makes the week so much easier!
We used to eat out lunch and dinner almost every day, using Friend That Cooks has saved us a considerable amount of money, which surprised me! People are shocked when I tell them how affordable it can be to have an in-home chef.

Katie Hudecek has been an amazing addition to our house! The meals that she prepares are absolutely delicious and she has happily adapted to our food sensitivities and prepares healthy meals that work with our dietary needs. She is kind and super talented and we look forward to each and every dinner!

I don't know if Chef Jonathon Levy is a personal chef or some sort of magician. I'm going with an extra helping of both!

Jonathon visited me for the first time yesterday and prepared six different items for the coming week. So far, I've tried three and have never had anything better in the finest restaurants I've had the pleasure to have visited. So, this may sound a little over the top, I know, but ... it's completely true!

I know what to expect from the other dishes as I was able to enjoy Jonathon's company while he worked. I know what I saw, I think, but I'm having trouble suspending disbelief. Jonathon was all over my kitchen working on at least four things at once while also entertaining me with stories. Imagine a Japanese hibachi experience with the food and knife throwing replaced by real culinary magic combined with extremely entertaining conversations.

I also have to mention that I'm recovering from some serious health problems, doing quite well, but with dietary restrictions. Chef Jonathon combined his own experience and expertise with other "Friend That Cooks" professional resources to accommodate my needs better than I ever imagined possible, particularly with such delicious fresh food choices!

Last thing to mention, to meet dietary needs I was purchasing lots of packaged foods because I only have expertise to figure out whether something meets my dietary needs from the nutrition labels. This costs way more than the excellent basic ingredients Jonathon selected. I saved enough that it made a significant dent in the reasonable hourly fee charged. Seriously!

I know all this sounds unbelievable. But consider that the risk of trying out "Friend That Cooks" is pretty low. Think about it.

Hats off to Chef Miss Amanda!!! LOVED HER!!!! Labor day weekend we enjoyed the MOST DELICIOUS meal after a long day at the Amazing Omaha Zoo! Our family of 11 with 5 being grandchildren ranging from 2 through 13 loved our Chef Miss Amanda (they called her)! She was so thorough and provided us with an OUTSTANDING variety of many dishes to savor! Much FUN was had by all and we couldn't have been any happier that we employed Friends that Cook!!! We devoured Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Steak Fajitas, many sauces and dips that were awesome, fresh roasted veggies, mexican corn with crema, and of course mac and cheese for the tots, a chocolate cake to die for and unbelievable peach cobbler! Everything was homemade! Wish I could cook and bake like Amanda!! She even made an incredible mixed berries and peach french toast for the next morning! We were SO SPOILED!!! : ) Definitely Recommend Friends That Cook and Chef AMANDA!!!! : )

Nate is amazing and so helpful. We appreciate him so much. He cooks the best dishes and the food is awesome. A friend that cooks is helping our lifestyle as we both work, have 3 active school aged kids that are busy with sports. One of our kids has a severe peanut allergy and the other has egg allergy. Nutrition is top priorty at our house. Nate makes nutritious vegan meals for us! We are so happy and pleased. You only have one life to live. Hire a friend that cooks to benefit your health.
