Friend That Cooks is a private company solely owned and operated by our company in Shawnee, KS. None of our locations are franchises and all our chefs are employees, not contractors, who are bonded and insured through the company.

Our online store has suggested amounts to purchase gift certificates, based on hourly rates and average service times for whichever service you are considering. You can pay for them in our store, create a customized message, and send a voucher with a certificate number to the recipient. If you would like to print the certificate and hand it to someone personally, just put yourself as the recipient and print it off from your email.
Friend That Cooks was started by Brandon O’Dell in August of 2007 in Wichita, KS. It has since expanded to Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Denver, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Washington D.C., and many others!
Our main office is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, Central Standard time. You can usually reach someone directly during those hours, or if we are unavailable you can expect a return call within the next business day. The office is not open on the weekend, but direct numbers to managers are provided to our existing clients.
